We are looking for a System Administrator who is enthusiastic about what they do, who wishes to grow their career and is eager to take on new challenges, with a learning mindset.
About the role:
As a System Administrator, you'll collaborate with technical experts and service delivery managers to ensure exceptional delivery for our clients.
Your focus will be on understanding client requirements, meeting contract obligations, and exceeding key service metrics.
We're seeking a problem solver with a passion for technology, a commitment to client success, and a drive to tackle challenges head-on.
You will be involved in:
Delivering timely and effective hardware and software support, resolving technical issues while maintaining SLAs and exceptional service quality.
Upgrading systems and processes to enhance performance, address vulnerabilities, and implement security best practices.
Implementing and managing on-premises and cloud solutions, administering systems such as firewalls, databases, and malware protection.
Partnering with vendors and stakeholders to deliver complex, innovative technical solutions.
Performing patch management, verifying backups, and reviewing system logs to ensure operational reliability and continuity.
Sharing expertise by guiding junior team members through technical challenges and contributing to their development.
Installing, testing, and documenting technical configurations, driving initiatives that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Responding to after-hours incidents with a competitive payment structure recognising your commitment.
To thrive in this role, you will need to have:
Strong experience in server and system administration, with knowledge of IT security principles, database operations, and cloud-based technologies.
Analytical capabilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues with clarity and efficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong prioritisation skills to balance competing demands in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
A proactive, independent approach to work, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
A track record of success in a similar role, including experience working with vendors and stakeholders on technical projects.
