Provide clinical leadership in our Maternity Inpatient Unit, a 24-bed facility specialising in maternity, surgical, and gynaecological care.
An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Nurses (Maternity) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Lead evidence-based care to support optimal patient outcomes.Drive quality improvement initiatives within the unit.Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.Ensure safe and efficient use of resources and compliance with policies.About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia.Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Benefits Flexible work options.Salary Packaging.Modern Facilities.Diverse Work Culture.12.75% super.17.5% leave loading.Permanent full time, permanent part time (flexible hours).Base salary ranging from $107,960 - $115,604 per annum, $54.44 - $58.30 per hour.About Us The Maternity Inpatient Unit operates within a major, complex tertiary service based at Southport.
This 24-bed unit specializes in maternity care, including antenatal and postnatal services, and includes four additional beds for general surgical and gynaecology patients.
