Finance Systems Officer

Join a supportive and friendly teamSupport the use of our financial systems across the Glen Eira City CouncilFull time permanent with flexible working opportunities$77K - $90K per annum (dependent on experience) + superannuationAbout the role Our Finance Systems Officer is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functionality of our finance applications.
You will be the go-to person for resolving any system issues, including troubleshooting and customising solutions.
You will also provide training for system users and create clear training manuals to ensure all staff get the most from the system.
Other responsibilities include: Maintenance of general ledger account numbers.Monitoring and maintaining user access for the financial information systems.Monitoring uploading and accuracy of data.Providing ongoing support to the Corporate Accountant as required.About you You are a proactive, detail-oriented person with an interest in finance and process improvement.
If you have experience working with financial software, and enjoy building strong relationships across teams, we'd love to hear from you.
The following is also required:
Experience in training users and preparing and/or maintaining software user manuals.Well-developed creative problem-solving skills.Demonstrated commitment and adherence to organisational values and behaviours.Not meeting all the requirements for this role?
