Account & Relationship Management (Sales) YDL Stone is one of Australia's leading suppliers of stone surfaces, specializing in crystalline silica-free stone primarily used for kitchen benchtops.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to join our fast-paced and dynamic team with a great culture.
About the Role This role is suitable for someone based in Canberra, ACT.
We offer options for both part-time and full-time positions.
You will be responsible for expanding your client base by promoting a range of quality stone products to various stone fabricators, kitchen companies, builders, architects, and designers.
You will report to the NSW Sales Manager.
Responsibilities: Expand client base by promoting stone products.Manage all accounts in Canberra and the surrounding regional area.Qualifications: Previous sales experience in the building industry is preferred, particularly within kitchen companies, architects, designers, and builders.A current full NSW/ACT driver's license.Confidence and competence in using various computer software and mobile apps, primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM, etc.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to implement best practices to improve the sales cycle and customer experience.Skills to analyze market trends and customer feedback.Proactivity in identifying new business opportunities.Personal Attributes: Ability to thrive under pressure.Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively within a team.Track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.Strong relationship-building skills, including cold calling.Ability to work autonomously in a mobile setting.Capability to handle customer complaints and conduct site inspections.Willingness to undertake regional business travel.Flexibility to work outside regular hours for events.In Return: We are offering an attractive package including salary, super, car allowance (Part time) or FMCV (Full time), company phone, company laptops, and other incentives if KPIs are achieved.
