Montefiore has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist, or an experienced Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in their career to become an integral part of our leadership team at our Hunters Hill campus.
Benefits of Working with Montefiore Robust ongoing regular training program including dementia training Above industry standard staff ratios and a dynamic multi-disciplinary team (Registered Nurses, AIN's, Physiotherapists, Social workers, Music therapists, Yoga therapists, Art therapists, Recreational Therapists) 12 weeks paid parental leave 5 weeks annual leave and 17.5% leave loading Additional accrued day off every month on top of your annual leave (for full-time employees) Salary Packaging The Role: Working closely with our Registered Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and Allied Health Team, you will be ensuring an enhanced level of care is provided to our residents.
You will utilise your clinical skills to deliver comprehensive assessments and care planning and provide support to the Deputy Care Manager.
Your Experience: Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) At least 3 years post-graduate clinical experience Prior experience working in an aged care setting Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Effective time management skills Experience working with clients living with dementia or a keen interest to learn Reasonable computer skills with prior experience utilising an electronic health record program Area of specialisation that may be beneficial to the Aged Care industry We would love to have a conversation with RNs who are either already working as a CNS or those who are looking to grow their career into management.
