POSITION TITLE: Chef de Partie
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Chef
HOURS: 4 days per week, 30 hours, during Monday to Friday days flexible, can be early morning starts approximately 6.30 am
Full Time
Flexibility is required with work hours to meet the requirements of the position including some evening and weekend hours

Through the creation of beautiful, high-quality food and products, we support, empower and employ women with lived experience of domestic violence, homelessness and complex trauma.
We have a busy catering kitchen where we employ vulnerable women in our employment pathways program and we donate meals and care packs to community partners in and around Sydney.
CHEF DE PARTIE ROLE:
Two Good Co is recruiting for a passionate & skilled Chef de Partie to work alongside the Head Chef in our catering kitchen and to inspire our team in the creation of beautiful food made with love.
This role also supports the supervision of women in Two Good's employment pathways program.
This role would suit someone who can work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced kitchen and who can work in a sensitive and supportive way with people from vulnerable backgrounds.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
Teach and Lead.

In this role, you're expected to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced catering kitchen.
Leading by example and effective communication are crucial, especially when guiding the women in our employment pathways program.
Systems and Process Oriented.
Capable of independently managing breakfast catering orders while maintaining Two Good's high standards.
Proficient in following the Head Chef's instructions and adhering to Two Good's established procedures, ensuring consistency, standardization and maintenance of food safety practices.
Early Bird.
This role will primarily involve opening the Two Good kitchen and ensuring the successful setup of daily food production.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
Considerable experience in a high-volume / high-standard commercial catering kitchen.
Completion of industry-approved studies in Commercial Cookery, or relevant comparable industry experience and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
Understanding of food safety standards.
A strong work ethic, high level of self-motivation and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
As a team member of the Two Good kitchen you are required to uphold the highest presentation standards and always display a professional appearance.
Minimum 3 years kitchen experience
