During this period of growth, SisterWorks has remained committed to seeking engagement and guidance from the women it supports, and is constantly looking for new ways to positively impact on the lives of more Sisters.About the roleCrafted Culture cafe, powered by SisterWorks, is a small social enterprise cafe & catering business in the heart of Richmond. This provides a pathway for Sisters to gain critical work experience in hospitality. A a couple of years on, we're looking for someone who is is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. This is an opportunity to manage and develop this important part of the SisterWorks program and needs a multi-tasking professional with experience in hospitality, experience in training and managing casual staff and possesses great interpersonal skills.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis role manage cafe, catering, and food production operations, ensuring high service standards, product quality, and team coverage. The cafe has approximately 50-70 walk-in customers daily and has a capacity of 20 pax seatings, while we have the capacity of having 1-2 caterings maximum per day with our small commercial kitchen.Responsibilities include handling POS, logistics and inventory management, overseeing financials and sales growth, and collaborating with marketing for promotional activities. Customer service is key, with a focus on building relationships and maintaining cleanliness.Financially, the role oversees profitability, loss prevention, and reporting. It also involves recruiting, training, and motivating team members to uphold operational and customer service standards, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires team supervision and coordination with staff to maintain consistent service.
