About the Role As the Animal Welfare Lead, you will play a pivotal role in upholding JBS Australia's dedication to humane and ethical practices.
Partnering with diverse business units, you will champion the welfare of animals across the production and processing supply chain.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and implement policies that align with regulatory requirements, meet customer expectations, and reflect our commitment to sustainable protein production.
About You You are a passionate professional with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavioural Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field, and bring three to five years of experience in animal welfare, ideally within protein or livestock production.
Your expertise in welfare regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends enables you to lead with authority and empathy.
With strong communication skills, you excel in training and advocacy, balancing data-driven decisions with a pragmatic approach to sensitive situations in a dynamic environment.
