Do you have construction insurance experience, or general insurance experience and have an interest in specialising in construction?
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join a supportive and reputable brokerage based in the inner east Melbourne who are growing at a rapid rate.
This is a newly created role following on from the growth of the portfolio.
The role and book size will develop over time and will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with senior managers and also provide coaching and mentoring to more junior team members.
The product lines consist of contract works, builders warranty and all associated business lines including Biz Pack, PI and ML.
THE ROLEService a portfolio of construction accounts overseeing individual client renewals from start to finish.Analysing client risk profiles and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored risk solutions.Offering concise and informed general insurance advice to clients, involving the creation of detailed reports and coverage summaries.Skillfully negotiating with underwriters on behalf of clients, serving as a dedicated advocate.Presenting renewal terms to clients.Diligent renewal management to secure business retention, addressing policy inquiries, and managing alterations.Work within a team and provide coaching and training.THE BENEFITSJoin an award winning broking firm.Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities.Regular team lunches and events.Fun, social and supportive culture.Be part of the organisations growth.WHO ARE YOU?The successful candidate must be able to manage, develop and maintain long term meaningful working relationships with key clients at all levels.
In addition, the successful candidate will have:
Relevant general insurance experience in broking, 3 years plus preferably.Experience across construction accounts preferred.Exceptional customer service skills and ability to be flexible and adaptive in communication styles.High attention to detail and organisational skills.Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.Positive attitude and driven to succeed.Next StepsPlease submit an application.
