Senior Business Analyst - Life InsuranceWe're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing success of ClearView. In this role, you'll provide vital business analysis, develop system requirements, and define acceptance criteria to support the administration of ClearView's life insurance products. You'll work closely with key stakeholders, guiding projects in line with our business strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of medium to smaller-scale projects.You'll be a key player in driving business decisions, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the solutions we implement meet the needs of the business and our customers. Your work will directly impact how we innovate and deliver outstanding experiences for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Business Decision Making: Lead scope prioritisation and business decision-making processes.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams to clarify business needs, define requirements, and recommend solutions.Requirements Definition: Use effective analysis methodologies to identify the root cause of issues and design solutions that meet business objectives.Solution Implementation: Translate business needs into actionable requirements and work with management and vendors to agree on delivery.Vendor Management: Review and approve functional specifications from external vendors to ensure they meet business and system requirements.Quality Assurance: Assist in quality assurance processes to ensure solutions align with business needs.Project Coordination: Work with teams to implement business solutions, supporting the Release Manager as needed.Secondary Responsibilities:Adhere to system development lifecycle methodologies.Manage small to medium-sized projects.Provide technical guidance to team members.Ensure compliance with relevant standards.Recommend process improvements to meet strategic objectives.Desired Experience:Previous experience with Digital and Workflow solution implementation and roll-out.Experience working with small agile teams.Tertiary or industry qualifications in business, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.Proficiency in MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, along with a clear understanding of SQL Server and other analytical tools.Experience in Life Insurance and Claims.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Results-oriented with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.Proficiency in business requirements analysis, documentation, problem-solving, process analysis, costing, design, and implementation.Test planning and management experience (desirable).About You:We're looking for a proactive, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
