Ict Procurement Specialist

Location - Melbourne VIC Contract - 6 Months Immediate Start This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sourcing and procuring ICT solutions, including hardware, software, and IT services, with a focus on high-value or complex projects.
This includes a strong understanding of the technology landscape and vendor management.
Key accountabilities · Provide expert advice across all procurement activities for a high-value ICT project, including process, compliance, policy and approval frameworks.
· Support end-to-end procurement delivery, including document development, technical and financial evaluation and contract negotiation.
· Undertake appropriate sourcing activities which generate operational efficiencies, achieve financial savings and deliver value for money outcomes through insight and analysis.
· Provide probity oversight & risk analysis, including mitigation strategy development.
· Seek continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate and encourages others to do the same.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships in order to strengthen the business partnering approach to procurement.
· Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
· Manage stakeholders through effective negotiation and influence.
· Manage cross-functional delivery of departmental policies and services impacted by sensitive and complex issues.
· Demonstrate an understanding of Category Management principles.
