What this opportunity involves: The Assistant Facilities Manager will assist the Post Facilities Manager to manage the tactical delivery for assigned sites and be the onsite key point of contact for Post staff and client stakeholders in the absence of the Post Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities include: Site budgets, accounting and financeMaintenance and operationsContract servicesPurchasing of material, equipment & suppliesOccupancy services and helpdeskAn overview of the role: People Management (including vendor management)Client/Stakeholder ManagementFinance and Commercial ManagementHealth and Safety ManagementSite Operations ManagementRisk ManagementIdeal Experience and Personal Characteristics: Knowledge of local health and occupational safety requirementsKnowledge of functionality of critical facilitiesKnowledge of vendor management for specialised servicesAn understanding of fundamental technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system)Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contractsStrong budget management and financial analysis skillsClient focus & relationship managementProject management and organisational skillsProblem solving and strategic thinking skillsSecurity clearanceWhat you can expect from us: As an organisation, we embrace diversity and celebrate the unique contributions of our team members.
