We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy and Power team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Perth office.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Energy and Power team at Marsh is a global network of 700 colleagues dedicated to advising companies in the energy, power, and renewable energy sectors.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Perth.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates and will report directly to the Specialty Operations team leader, with day-to-day collaboration primarily with the Energy and Power brokers.
We will count on you to: Support Client Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support to Account Brokers.Foster Relationships: Assist in building effective working relationships with clients and insurers as required by the Account Brokers.Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that accurate and up-to-date records on all clients are maintained at all times.Understand Insurance Products: Develop a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered by the company.Knowledge of Legislation: Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, and Worker's Compensation.Client Awareness: Stay informed about the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.Adhere to Quality Practices: Follow the company's quality practices and comply with the Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required from time to time.What you need to have: High School Certificate or equivalentMinimum of 2 years' experience in a similar broking/operational role, preferably in an insurance-related fieldMinimum Tier 1 ANZIIF Broking LicenseExcellent analytical and negotiation skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communicationWhat makes you stand out: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a quick learner of other computerized systemsAbility to work under pressure with effective time management skills to meet deadlinesMotivated self-starter focused on achieving results, capable of working autonomously as well as being a team playerWhy join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.About Marsh: Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world's top insurance broker and risk advisor.
