With over 180 studio and 1 bedroom apartments, Social House dining and bar, 3 conference rooms, gym and pool, Mantra Parramatta is a popular venue for government, corporates, groups and leisure guests to enjoy.PurposeAs the Restaurant & Events Manager, you are responsible for planning, directing, controlling and coordinating all Restaurant and Conference & Events activities to ensure the smooth operation and profitability of all outlets.Primary ResponsibilitiesOverseeing all restaurant and event operations, actively participating during peak hours as a hands-on leaderRecruiting, training, and supervising team members to ensure all are engaged and performing at their bestManage budgets, rostering, controlling costs, and optimising revenue through pricing strategies, portion control, and inventory managementStay informed about the latest trends in the Food & Beverage & Events sectorEstablish and maintain open channels of communication between all departments in the Property particularly the kitchen to ensure the smooth operation of the departmentSkills and ExperienceHave an understanding of all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department including the Liquor Act & hold a valid VIC RSAPrior experience leading teams in a Food & Beverage or Event environmentProven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedulesEffective communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externallyFlexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidaysExceptional organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and a keen sense of urgencyDemonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situationsBenefitsALL Heartist Membership - Take advantage of discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwideFamily & Friends Discounts - Available on a range of accommodation, services and events for those who mean the most to youAccor Live Limitless (ALL) Loyalty Program - Earn status & reward points on your worldwide staysLearn Your Way - Support your career development with access to Accor's industry leading training platforms, Accor Academy and TypsyBuild Your Network - With more than 300,000 Accor professionals globally sharing the same guest passion, you have the ability to grow your hospitality network worldwideWorldwide Opportunities - We are a world leading hotel operator
