We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant / Front Office Coordinator to join our friendly and dynamic team at Melbourne Dental Vision.
This role combines clinical dental assisting responsibilities with front office coordination, ensuring smooth operations in both patient care and administrative tasks.
Job Title : Dental Assistant / Front Office Coordinator Employment Type : Full-Time (4-5 days a week) Working Hours : Monday–Friday (8:45 AM to 6:15 PM) and Saturdays (8:15 AM to 4:15 PM) Additional Details : Flexible hours available, with the possibility of extra days.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support as a Dental Assistant while also managing front office duties such as patient scheduling, answering phone calls, and general reception tasks.
Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the dental clinic with a focus on patient care and confidentiality.
Work collaboratively as part of a team, assisting with administrative and clinical responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Skills & Experience :Experience as a Dental Assistant with reception or front office duties.
Knowledge of dental reception practices, with familiarity with D4W software (ideal).
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail.
Professional, reliable, and punctual with a solid work ethic.
Previous experience in dental assisting and reception is essential.
Flexibility to take on extra shifts or days when needed.
Personal Attributes :Positive attitude, proactive, and a team player who thrives in a dynamic and professional environment.
