Description Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and leading audit processes.
The Finance Manager will assist with the integration of a newly acquired business into the group, alongside supporting various automation and streamlining initiatives across multiple entities.
This is a hands-on role that will see you collaborate with the CFO and senior stakeholders to drive financial efficiency and improve operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to streamline processes and drive automation across the group's entities.Statutory Reporting: Lead the preparation of accurate and timely statutory accounts, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external and internal audits, ensuring all audit processes run smoothly and efficiently.Financial Controls & Governance: Strengthen financial controls and policies to safeguard the business and ensure compliance with all regulations.Cashflow management.Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing key insights to guide decision-making.Taxation & Compliance: Oversee tax compliance and manage external tax advisors to ensure adherence to all tax regulations.Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Conduct cost-benefit analysis and evaluate ROI on future capital investments.Work on ad hoc projects as directed by the CFO or CEO.Profile To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:
Experience working in a similar hands-on Finance Manager or Financial Controller position within the manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or FMCG industry will be advantageous.Hands-on knowledge of SAP or Pronto is highly desirable, including being involved in systems improvements or implementations.Be available to start on short notice.Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.The ability to thrive in an evolving and fast-paced work environment.Job Offer:
