In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our development's success by overseeing key aspects of planning, execution, and management.
You will drive progress and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
This position requires strategic thinking, hands-on management, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our project aligns with both financial targets and brand standards, contributing directly to the high standards we aim to deliver within Melbourne's dynamic CBD.
Key Attributes
Extensive experience in retail leasing and centre operations within large-scale, mixed-use developments, with a focus on operational efficiency and customer-centric spaces.
Strong understanding of local retail leasing standards, tenancy regulations, and compliance requirements for effective lease management and tenant relations.
Insight into centre operations and experiential initiatives that drive foot traffic, enhance tenant success, and foster a vibrant retail environment.
Proficient in space planning and retail tenancy coordination, ensuring functional and visually cohesive spaces that align with project branding and customer needs.
Exceptional project management skills, overseeing leasing timelines, tenant fit-out coordination, and pre-opening requirements to ensure smooth transition and operational readiness.
Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience, including coordination with leasing agents, project managers, builders, and retail tenants to ensure seamless alignment with project goals.
Commitment to operational excellence and efficiency, with a focus on optimizing store layouts, workflow, and day-to-day retail operations to enhance the customer experience.
Experience in dealing with financiers will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Drive project goals and milestones by overseeing planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring each phase aligns with the overall vision for the mixed-use retail and hospitality development.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including leasing agents, project managers, contractors, vendors, and tenants, to maintain strong partnerships and ensure smooth project progress.
Implement and monitor project performance metrics to maintain high standards across quality, timelines, and budget, proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide updates, manage expectations, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain a hands-on approach within a lean company structure, often stepping beyond traditional role boundaries to support team goals and enhance project outcomes.
