This is a wonderful opportunity for a sales leader to join a team that was crowned as Mumbrella's Sales Team of the Year 2023/2024.
The Sales Manager will be an energetic and solutions-focused individual who'll assist in cementing Urban List - Mumbrella's Media Brand of the Year 2023, as the market leader in branded content, digital advertising solutions, activations, and events.
Operating as the lead point of contact for their designated client patch, the Sales Manager will strive to deliver innovative client solutions, unparalleled campaign results, valued client service, and productive long-term client relationships with both our corporate clients and their appointed agencies.
Responsibilities: In Market SellingManaging a client pipeline and execution of key long-term relationships in market.Deliver agreed revenue targets from agency and direct clients from client patch.Promptly respond to all inbound direct sales enquiries.Proactively pursue new direct sales opportunities and develop materials that encourage advertising bookings.Develop a sales plan that achieves the optimal balance between revenue and sales costs.Execute the sales plan to deliver budget.Proposals match existing product or approved new product.Proposals to fit within business pricing parameters.Deliver a consistent message in market.Building partnerships with both top tier clients and media agencies.Delivering consistently excellent account management results – for both the Agencies and our Corporate clients.Develop long-term, trusted relationships with your portfolio of clients, consistently striving to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.InternallyHave a collaborative approach with internal stakeholders to ensure advertising opportunities are co-aligned with the broader business objectives and editorial direction.Being highly motivated, creative, and strategically minded, with a rich experience in media / marketing / sales.Campaign and partnership implementation following company processes and best practices.Provide accurate forecasting for your sales patch throughout the year including management of pipeline and velocity.Consistent upward communication and regular reporting.Clearly communicate the needs and wants of the marketplaces that we serve.Fostering a positive, productive and proactive relationship with our branded content team and external production partners, collaborating to ensure all campaigns meet client and agency expectations and business goals.Ensure all campaigns are delivered effectively – on time, on budget, and meeting benchmarked expectations from brief through to launch.Application Process: If this role sounds like you we'd love to hear from you.
