The Hotel:
Nestled on the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne's vibrant CBD, 1 Hotel & Homes is an architectural marvel.
Clad in a stunning composition of reflective glass panes, the hotel mirrors the dynamic nature of the Yarra River, immersing guests in the locale's beauty.
Natural light floods the interior, complemented by thoughtful design and art that bring nature into every corner.
Our sanctuary features 277 beautifully designed guest rooms and 114 residences.
Adjacent to the hotel is Seafarers Rest, a new public park hosting activations and events, enhancing the community spirit.
Situated on Melbourne's original waterfront, our 18-floor property offers uninterrupted views of the Yarra River and the city's iconic skyline.
Our event centre, positioned along the Yarra River, boasts large windows that create an inviting, light-filled space.
State-of-the-art technology controls light and sound, offering flexibility for any occasion.
The space can host up to 650 guests as one large area or be divided for more intimate gatherings.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking ambitious Sales Managers (MICE/Corporate/Weddings).
As a dynamic hotel sales professional, you excel at taking calculated risks and developing innovative solutions.
Your natural talent for relationship-building and sharp financial acumen sets you apart.
You will skillfully build, review, and analyse RFPs and group contracts in conjunction with the Director of Sales driving measurable results and increasing total revenue through your extensive industry networks across industry and verticals.

About You:
Passionate pro-active sales go-getter with 2+ years of progressive experience within the Melbourne hotel sales space Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that resonate with our people-focused ethos.
A resolute commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
A visionary outlook, equipped with the ability to craft and join the Sales team its very foundation.
