**Our business**

**Your role**:

- The permanent monitoring of key commodity (crude oil and differentials) components and independently conduct market intelligence and fundamental market analysis for OMV market (Europe / Middle East and Asia) with focus on main fundamental drivers (Supply / Demand / Pricing) and overall European commodities traded and optimized within the company
- You provide independently in depth studies/projects for specific (crude oil and differentials) market Intelligence topics and short-term, mid-term, long-term price forecasts to support planning purposes
- You provide optimal and in-time delivery of prognosis with the focus on crude oil key figures, product quotations as well as detailed price calculations, especially for the monthly planning and annual forecasts
- You engage in development of long-term fundamental scenarios for OMV core markets (Europe and Middle East) and overall commodity Supply / Demand and pricing outlook to support strategic and investment decisions
- You regularly update internal data models and information tools/databases with historic data, industry forecasts and selected KPIs including setting up and maintaining annual planning data
- You proactively perform ad hoc analysis, deep-dive analyses and reports on current issues/market events, market developments, other issues like crude oil imports and throughput as well as monitoring of crude oil purchases (market vs intercompany transfer) and their implications on current and future business models
- You provide reporting of all relevant market information on weekly/monthly basis to senior management and selected business units on fundamental drivers and price data; provide relevant reporting on daily/weekly/monthly to internal operational business units on fundamental drivers and price data
- You lead development and maintenance of economic models to forecast market fundamentals for establishing price forecast for rude oil key figures, product quotations as well as detailed price calculations
- You develop outlook scenarios appropriate to strategic needs of OMV for use in assessing also large capital projects and M&A opportunities and potential new market entry activities.
- You negotiate contracts with Data feed providers (e.g. Platts, Argus etc.)

**Your profile**:

- You have a Master Degree in Economics, Engineering, Natural Science or Business Administration
- You have minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience
- You have excellent conceptual, analytical skills
- You have strong communication skills for internal and external presentations and you are excellent in storytelling
- You have an innovative mind-set with courage and ability to challenge the status quo
- You have lateral thinking, flexible and pro-active
- You have an open-minded personality with versatile interests; flexible team-player with excellent networking skills
- You have proven IT skills (especially MS Office, data provider/subscription knowledge of common data providers like IHS, JBS, Reuters, Bloomberg and Woodmac
- You have excellent and proven command of English
