**About the role**:
As the head of Formulation/Fill/Finishing lab, you will be responsible for supporting the routine production, continuous improvement, and the development of manufacturing processes within pharmaceutical production. In addition, you will drive innovative solutions to maintain and develop lab capabilities in accordance with the business and technology priorities. Contribution to overall PL&Q direction and representing lab within Manufacturing Science and across the organization will also be your key focuses.

**How you will contribute**:

- Lead and develop a team of approx. 5 lab scientists and technicians
- Prioritize and execute the lab studies in a timely manner
- Hold accountability for OpEx and CapEx spending of the lab
- Drive inventive solutions to improve manufacturing and lab processes
- Ensure quality and compliance of investigations within area of responsibility
- Establish an effective communication with stakeholders within and outside the organization
- Create, review, and approve protocols and final reports

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or related pharmaceutical science
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Proven leadership experience of project/teams
- Thorough knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical processes
- Sound knowledge of GMPs, Lean and Six Sigma
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities
- Hands-on mentality
- Business proficiency in German and English
