Business Application Manager

With proven experience in a technical management role working within a complex technical environment, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from the Information & Digital Services department as well as colleagues across the University with a range of technical abilities.

This role requires a highly motivated individual, who will be able support, manage and motivate a team of technical individuals to support the daily operational activities as well as new developments within Digital Services across the University.

Technical skill, capability and leadership are essential to succeeding in this role. This role will need to carefully balance competing business demands for project delivery, technical development and user support, ensuring that demand is prioritised and the student experience is maintained to a high standard. This will require a strong ability to work under pressure whilst, remaining calm and professional to deliver high standards of service and leadership.

Strong skills within the following supported platforms including SQL, IIS and Microsoft 365 are essential, with strong experience of troubleshooting, analysing and diagnosing technical problems.
