**About the job**

You can actively shape sustainability processes in the purchasing world and contribute to global improvement. With your work you directly reduce the CO2 emissions of RHI Magnesita. In this role, you will be a buyer with primary responsibility for various commodity groups in the resale area, working closely with internal stakeholders (SCM, QA, R&D). In addition, you will contribute to the development of a sustainable purchasing strategy as part of a global project team.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Tendering as well as conducting negotiations and supplier talks
- Market studies, identification of trends and opportunities in the procurement markets
- Contract management and preparation of purchase orders and contracts
- Supporting the entire regional purchasing team in identifying and implementing sustainability initiatives

You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. **In addition you have**:

- Strong interest in topics such as sustainability, environmental and energy management
- Results orientation, coupled with a drive for continuous improvement
- Proactive, self-reliant and structured way of working
- Very good MS Office skills; SAP (Ariba) and Microsoft BI experience desirable
- Affinity for digital tools

A university degree in business administration, finance, risk management or similar

**Languages**

English - Proficient/Fluent

German - Proficient/Fluent

**Work Experience**

A few years of relevant working experience (ideally in an industrial company)
