**DESCRIPTION**:
Audit International are working with one of Europe's largest Chemical companies, who are looking to hire a senior Internal Auditor for their team to be based in Austria, Sweden or Belgium

Travel is 25%

Role Purpose
Analysing, challenging and recommending improvement opportunities in different business groups, processes, locations and joint ventures.
The ability to work independently within different processes and geographies is critical. Internal auditors have to be able to deal with high workloads and stressful situations as assignments have to be completed within a predefined time frame.

Contribution
Assessment of performance whether business, process or operations related
Timely and accurate reporting on improvement opportunities with a clear audit trail from analysis and findings to recommended solutions
Continuous follow-up of agreed audit actions
Support organisation in assurance & compliance to Internal Control Standards
Facilitation of risk assessment and management processes in the audited areas, thereby supporting the completion of ERM

Knowledge, skills and experience
Master’s degree or comparable in relevant discipline
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors is preferred
Excellent understanding of SAP including data extraction and analysis skills
English and French or German is preferred

Additional information
The job holder reports to the Director Risk Management & Internal Audit.
Location is flexible in Europe (Belgium or Austria)
