Junior Payments Accountant

We are looking for **“Junior Payments Accountant”** to support daily accounting activities within Global Blue Payments team.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all payment transactions are recorded
- Reconciliation of incoming and outgoing cash balances
- Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/quaterly closings
- Prepare and formalize BS reconciliations following Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Reporting to the Team Leader Payments
- Collaborating with the entire organization, most regularly with Payment Operations Teams, other Accounting teams within the Shared Service Center, IT team, System Analysts

**Within this position you will**:

- Acquire a deep knowledge of world-wide transactional flows and international method of payments
- Develop your communication and analytical skills
- Obtain experience in full range of accounting activities in a NYSE listed company

**Key competencies**:

- 1 to 3 years’ experience in Accounting, knowledge of payment industry is an advantage
- Experienced in working with a large amount of financial data and create useful summaries and visualization
- High attention to detail, well organize and excellent analytical skills
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience in accounting is considered as a strong advantage
- Proactive, Independent, goal-oriented, and self-motivating personality
- Fluency in English (Global Blue’s working language).
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize activities to meet deadlines
