Currently we’re looking for a **Head (f/m/d) of Procurement and Logistics - Lead Country Bundle Austria**in Vienna. In this role, you lead the Procurement and Logistics organization for like Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Slovakia, driving strategic initiatives and fostering an innovative, inclusive work culture. Your impact will shape both operational excellence and team development in a dynamic environment.

**Your new field of activity - challenging and future-oriented**
- You deploy the Procurement & Logistics strategy in alignment with overarching goals, ensuring effective local execution.
- You lead the assigned local organization of 4 direct reports and ensure the alignment of the assigned countries as well as indirectly BU-assigned employees to achieve the overall function target. You ensure the effective operation of the matrix organization in the lead country bundle, bring together local and global stakeholders and guide team members towards success.
- Furthermore, you demonstrate your drive for operational excellence by defining and implementing effective improvement plans to streamline the local interface between strategic and operational Procurement
- Additionally, you act as a role model, proactively advancing digital transformation and workforce evolution with a focus on diversity and skill development.
- You will ensure adherence to the Corporate Regulatory Framework and serve as the primary escalation point for local governance issues.
- You oversee key performance indicators, including PVO (about 700 Mio), CoO/FTE, and other metrics, consistently delivering on targets.
- Finally, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Senior Management on all procurement-related matters in the lead country bundle Austria.

**Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate**
- You hold a master’s degree in business or engineering or equivalent.
- Additionally, you bring several years of management experience in procurement, ideally in a project-driven environment.
- You impress us with solid experience in the automotive, aviation, medical devices, or rail industries.
- Moreover, you enjoy stepping out of your comfort zone, embracing innovation, and challenging boundaries.
- You excel in intercultural team environments and understand the unique demands of a matrix organization.
- For this international role, you communicate fluently in English.

**What else should I know?**

We offer an attractive remuneration package in line with your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross annual salary for this position is at least EUR 120.000 (Full-time), based on all-inclusive contract. Depending on your education, experience and overtime, a higher salary can be agreed. As a large corporation, Siemens also offers additional social benefits.
