**Financial Accountant - AR**

**OVERVIEW**

In this position, you will be responsible for the daily accounting and the administration of Accounts Receivable for the assigned region, in active mutual collaboration with your local colleagues in the respective country. Daily tasks include also regular follow-up on the receivables, reconciliation, closing activities and AR-related internal audits.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Data reconciliation from our processing system via interfaces to the accounting system (invoices, credit notes, back commission)
- Bank payments: execution, posting and attribution, allocation, payment processing,
- Remittance of the “back commission”
- Weekly reports to the colleagues in the local country
- Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable: write-off, accounts reconciliation, verification of the ageing structure and credit balances
- Dunning and cash collection
- Manual invoicing & support on automation
- Regular cash-in forecast
- Process description & improvement actions
- Closing activities for month
- and year-end: reporting, ageing structure of receivables, calculation of bad-debt provision, balances confirmation, etc.
- Audit tasks

**PROFILE**

**Experience and background**
- Profound Accounting knowledge
- Education in Accounting/Finance or relevant working experience (1-2 years)
- Advanced MS-Office skills (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Language skills: advanced English
- Advantage: native/fluent knowledge of international languages (German, French, or other)

**Personal qualification**
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Understanding of accounting schedules and flexible around month-end closings
- Organization & time-management skills, ability to prioritize workload
- Analytic mindset with great focus on details,
- Pro-active and self-motivating personality
