Within CO+I, the Supply Chain team have a wide is responsible for sourcing and establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Cloud and our customers while rigidly adhering to our absolute commitment to safety. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking to fill a critical role in our Supply Chain Execution team for a Contracts Manager supporting our build program in Austria.

This is predominantly a construction site based position with some flexibility for hybrid working from our corporate offices and working from home.

**Responsibilities**:

- You’ll be responsible for the procurement and commercial / contracts management function as part of the EPC cross functional delivery of the Microsoft datacenter delivery program.
- Developing and implementing contracting strategies and procurement plans to achieve the project goals while ensuring market cost competitiveness. Partnering with the strategic sourcing team to ensure close alignment between the strategic category management plans and the needs of the projects in your region.
- Support the change management process across the build program assessing contractual entitlement and supporting the negotiation of cost / schedule impact in compliuance with the contract terms.
- You’ll be responsible for managing the contractual performance of our suppliers across all categories and provide contractual advice on the administration of our contracts to our cross functional EPC teams, tracking and mitigating contractual risk across all projects.
- Partnering with our internal stakeholders you will also manage contract negotiations and dispute resolution drawing on the expert support available from our legal departments.

**Qualifications**:
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree in a construction related field such as Quantity Surveying, Engineering and Construction Management.
- Bachelors Degree in another related technical field with a Masters in a specialised construction field.
- Experience in prevalent Forms of Contract utilized in EMEA, FIDIC experience is preferred.
- English language competency is required for this role.

**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**:

- International Construction experience in the delivery of complex Mission Critical projects across EMEA.

The typical base pay range for this role across Austria is EUR 115,000 - EUR 150,400 per year.
