**What we're looking for**:
You are an experienced Account Manager with a demonstrated ability to sell complex software solutions to large corporate and enterprise accounts and possess a strong history of quota achievement.

You have extensive sales experience and can establish relationships and engage with the business and IT at management level to identify opportunities and sell Citrix products and services direct to existing named accounts or specified strategic accounts.

In addition, you have leadership skills which you would like to further develop, and eventually want to move into full-time sales management. You are a good problem solver, are able to multi-task, and can help remove internal or external roadblocks to enable team success. You are ready and willing to step into new challenges, whether it’s leading a strategic initiatives or helping to manage the business locally. This position will report directly into the Regional Director for Switzerland and Austria.

**Position overview**:
As the Senior Account Manager and Team Lead, you develop accounts with high potential into larger accounts with regular revenue generation. You create partnership-based relationships with customers, covering 20-25 corporate-level accounts. You drive consistent revenue generation selling the entire Citrix portfolio and transform transactional/opportunistic customer relationships into continuous relationships.

You use your experience to effectively build and lead teams of Citrix and channel partner resources to achieve established account strategies. You are a senior resource for other Austrian team members, and act as a coach and an escalation point where needed. You consolidate forecast and individual opportunity information for regional leadership as required. And, you have interest in growing into a full-time sales management role in the future.

**What you will be doing**:

- Establish relationships and engage with the business and IT management level to identify opportunities and sell Citrix products and services direct to existing named accounts or specified strategic accounts, understanding their business and IT strategies, priorities and goals.
- Carry a revenue quota to meets or exceed sales targets and demonstrate continuous progress towards achieving account strategies.
- Interact strongly with customer at the Senior Management level with support on forming a relationship with C level contacts within these accounts. Understand and document customer’s business and IT strategies, priorities and goals.
- Identify, develop, execute, and maintain account strategies to drive adoption of Citrix products and services revenue within assigned enterprise accounts and their subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Establish and lead teams of internal and external resources to identify, pursue, and close specific opportunities consistent with account strategies.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with digital sales, sales engineers, consultants, and sales specialists to access and leverage from appropriate internal resources.
- Establish and maintain relationships with resellers, system integrators, and any other external partner to develop and achieve account strategies and opportunity plans.
- Understand and navigate account procurement practices to successfully negotiate profitable licensing contracts.
- Drive prompt resolution of customer issues and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction with Citrix products and services.
- Serve as the primary client contact for non-technical or support issues requiring escalation.
- Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to sales management.- Assist in securing non-commissionable revenue in assigned accounts (including Subscription Advantage).- Ensure we are executing against our strategic priorities. Drive key initiatives forward within the local team, and raise any requests for help needed from the EMEA or corporate level.
- Lead team meetings, consolidate information for senior management, provide coaching / mentoring, and act as an escalation point for challenges encountered by the team.
- Develop sales management skills, including opportunity coaching and forecast / pipeline management.
