**About the opportunity**:
The **Manager, Operations and QA **is a key member of the Vienna Product Design Centre. This role takes the lead in coordinating the operation of Hotel Technology production systems based on company policies, SLAs, security guidelines, and self-developed objectives in an efficient way, ensuring deadlines are met consistently. He or she also contributes towards defining and outlining these goals and objectives, in addition to creating and maintaining SOPs. The Manager, Operations and QA additionally oversees the QA team ensuring that the quality of operations is always met by software quality.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Manages the Systems Operations (IT) and QA teams
- Coordinates with the development and product management team to ensure system availability and performance
- Develops concepts for state of the art, reliable, efficient operation of our transactional systems
- Handles team time management and Oncall rotation planning
- Escalation handling
- Responsible for procurement of production-related resources (infrastructure & tooling)
- Responsibility for data and system security projects and improvements
- Handles security audits, certifications, and processes
- Manages Systems Operations and Production related processes and SOP definitions

**Who are you?**

**Background and Experience**:

- A minimum of 7 years of IT-Industry experience in related areas
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience (Team lead or higher)
- Experience in Infrastructure as code
- Experience in cloud-based operations (Azure, AWS)
- Experience in Linux/Unix based systems
- Experience in industry standards and security practices
- Experience in project and process management
