What To Expect Day To Day
We are a leading provider of innovative monitoring solutions for critical infrastructure, specializing in advanced hardware & software solutions for transformers, generators, circuit breakers and more. Our state-of-the-art technology ensures reliability and efficiency, helping our clients maintain optimal performance and safety. We are expanding our footprint in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As the Sales Manager for the DACH region, you will be responsible for delivering company targets within the DACH region whilst building growth opportunities for the future. The role requires energy, a distinct pleasure in dealing with people in the context of sales, customer focus, teamwork, creative thinking, and enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment with responsibility all while building structure and rigour to deliver.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets in the DACH region.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with potential clients in the energy sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our monitoring devices.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer satisfaction and address any technical issues.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Strong knowledge of the DACH region market and its key energy players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% travel) within the DACH region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

Essential

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Sales Representative in the energy industry, preferably with background in transformers, generators, or other critical energy infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to drive sales from creation through close and ongoing growth
  • Proven ability to manage diverse and geographically spread teams and strong communicator
  • Ability to communicate and influence all level of the organisation, both internal and external
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Anticipate needs and demonstrates initiative; able to work independently and stay on task
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally
  • Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of Dutch language is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver licence (class B or higher)
