About the role Our Procurement function is a core part of our business and an area we continue to invest heavily in. The most important part of that investment is our people and we are seeking great talent with packaging sourcing experience to report to our Procurement Manager. The overall purpose of this role is the end‑to‑end category management of defined categories from sourcing through to contract management. In managing these categories, you will be responsible for their financial performance including identification and delivery of cost savings projects, and establishing and making recommendations on short and long term supplier strategies. Our team provides regular reporting for senior stakeholders (Executive Committee Members and Procurement Directors) such as market reports, business unit dashboards, internal reporting on savings/rebates, and payment term performance. You will truly have a seat at the table interacting with all levels of our organisation. About you We are open to talking to people with a range of experience as long as you have had exposure to a complex procurement function. You may be a seasoned procurement expert with a deep understanding of FMCG manufacturing, or you may just be starting out in your procurement career. What we do require is a high level of enthusiasm for learning and the ability to pick up tasks quickly. Your pragmatism, analytical skills, and attention to detail is what will excite us. Other things we'll be looking for are commercial acumen and a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder management, and great negotiation and communication skills.
