Philanthropy Manager – Brisbane, Queensland, Australia At Anglicare, we turn up for those you see and those you don't. We are currently seeking to hire a Philanthropy Manager to join our Fundraising and Events team on a full‑time permanent basis. Responsibilities In collaboration with the Head of Fundraising, develop and execute Anglicare's Major Gift, Mid-level and Bequest strategies. Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising and Executive Leadership Team on revenue opportunities identified for the Major Gift and Capital Campaign programs. Develop and deliver an exceptional donor experience at all times, for existing and prospective donors, as well as their next of kin. Identify, cultivate and steward relationships with major gift, mid‑level giving and bequest donors and prospects. Ensure the voice of supporter is considered in all communication touch points. Respond to donor inquiries and build relationships with supporters and gift facilitators. Support events and other initiatives in fundraising as appropriate. Ensure continuous improvement through regular research and keep abreast of industry trends, standards, practices, benchmarking and competitors. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in fundraising, philanthropy and/or related discipline. A minimum of 5 years' experience in fundraising, preferably within Gifts in Wills or Major Gift programs. Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic fundraising programmes. Proven track record in achieving fundraising targets and securing bequests, major gifts and in‑memory donations. Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the capacity to influence, negotiate and problem‑solve. Advanced research, writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Successful candidates will also need to provide a Blue Card, Drivers Licence and National Police Check.
