We’re now seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Allocation Officer to join our operations team at our Somerton office. About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to take ownership of daily fleet allocations. As a Fleet Allocation Officer, you’ll be responsible for coordinating trucks and heavy machinery across projects throughout Victoria, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to meet client needs. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and wider team to manage contractor relationships, oversee compliance requirements, and provide outstanding service to our clients and subcontractors. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that plays a central part in the smooth delivery of our operations. Key Responsibilities Allocate trucks and heavy machinery to projects across Victoria using our online portal Update contractor portals to ensure all information is accurate and current Proactively contact subcontractors to confirm availability and build strong ongoing relationships Handle inbound calls with professionalism and a strong customer service focus Monitor contractor compliance with company and industry requirements Provide administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations What You’ll Bring Proven experience in fleet allocation, logistics, or scheduling (civil construction/earthmoving highly regarded) Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in managing subcontractor relationships High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in computer systems and a willingness to learn new platforms quickly Why Join Us?
