You will be responsible for meeting daily staffing requirements, supporting continuity of care, and maintaining service excellence. In collaboration with the Resource Unit Coordinator, you will assist with the **recruitment, selection, and retention** of casual staff, while ensuring that all Nurse Bank staff are appropriately **oriented and inducted** into the clinical environment.Your responsibilities will include **monitoring performance standards**, collecting and reporting data on staffing effectiveness, and promptly addressing any issues related to Nurse Bank or Agency personnel. You will work closely with Nurse Unit Managers to align available resources with clinical needs, actively **negotiating skill mix** to maintain quality care. In addition, you will **manage key relationships with nursing agencies**, ensuring collaborative partnerships and responsive staffing support.You will bring your enthusiasm, dedication, and strong communication skills to this dynamic role. As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:* **Handling inbound calls** with professionalism and efficiency, providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.* **Coordinating with casual resource staff** to confirm availability and secure shift bookings, ensuring optimal staffing levels.* **Managing internal rostering systems**, including Emprevo and Kronos, to maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records.* **Collaborating with Clinical Managers and Hospital Coordinators** to understand and meet daily staffing needs across various departments.* **Engaging with external stakeholders**, fostering positive working relationships and clear lines of communication.* **Providing vital administrative support** to the Resource Allocations Nurse Unit Manager, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of the team.**ABOUT ST VINCENTS PRIVATE HOSPITAL MELBOURNE** Our experienced team of clinical professionals, care givers and support staff are equipped to provide the highest level of therapeutic, medical and surgical services.
