You will be responsible for overseeing and executing the export processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Using your in-depth knowledge of export operations and documentation and your customer‑centered attitude to handling operations tasks, you will be instrumental in streamlining processes and ensuring that customers have the best experience when we support them in keeping their business moving. Your Responsibilities Import and Export Operations on CargoWise: Utilize your proven advanced skills in CargoWise to manage and execute all aspects of the export operations, from order creation to shipment completion. Commitment to Operational Excellence: Lead and optimize export processes, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Documentation Management: Prepare and verify export documentation, including but not limited to commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, with meticulous attention to detail. Customer Care and Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer care support by addressing inquiries, providing shipment updates, and resolving issues promptly. Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the export process. Continuous Operational Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, implementing projects that uphold best practices to enhance overall operational performance, such as the development and uplift of SOPs. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on international trade regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal standards and minimizing risks. Qualifications Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in import and export operations within the freight forwarding and/or warehousing industry. Extensive hands‑on experience with CargoWise software. Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment – a desire to work together with the team to achieve success together. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to take proactive action to uphold a high standard of performance in the work environment.
