You will be an energetic self‑starter with the ability to identify opportunities and generate interest in the Growth Faculty by contacting prospects, presenting our product, and qualifying leads. You will work closely with the existing sales team to accelerate growth. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the first line of communication with potential new clients, you will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to explain the value our product brings to businesses across Australia. In addition, you will advise and support clients, offering solutions and tactics to help achieve their business goals while also increasing company revenue. You will develop strategic plans that align with client priorities and emphasize tools and services that can improve efficiency, streamline processes, or increase profits. You will be a natural problem‑solver with a passion to genuinely help customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer enquiries and offer a unique and innovative solution to each query. You will be eager to learn and become well trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. You aren’t afraid to pick up the phone and can establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with C‑suite and senior level decision makers. Having the ability to quickly assess customer opportunities will be critical to your success. Targeting leading organisations, you will have the business acumen to explain the impact our product brings to businesses across the world. Responsibilities Maintain and grow our customer portfolio through memberships and events. Own your lead management and prospecting activities from a multitouch sales approach i.e., phone, email, SMS, and social selling. Proactively seek new B2B business opportunities in key markets and ideal customer profiles. Account based selling – engaging all key decision makers in prospect organisations. Identify customers’ needs and how our product aligns, advising on best solution. Build business opportunities through energetic and engaging outbound calling, account management, and referral. Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Deal directly with customer requests via incoming telephone calls, emails or live chat. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfactory outcomes. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools. Assist customers with guidance on how to navigate our website and access virtual events. Meet customer support team service level agreements. Work with teams across the business to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in events. Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and retaining or gaining customers and clients. Input customer data into CRM systems in a timely and accurate manner and maintain database. Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process and make suggestions for improvements. Complete administrative duties such as data entry and creating reports and documentation. Build long‑term trusting relationships with customers and prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities. Efficiently process all opportunities, track, report and maintain them. Proactively manage your schedule, activities and leads to meet KPIs. Collaborate successfully with other members of the sales team to optimise team selling productivity. On‑goingly proactively learn to continuously upgrade your personal skills and understanding of our product to become a product expert. Actively promote and develop the corporate culture of bringing brilliance, rolling sleeves up, thinking big and creating impact for the company and our customers. Requirements 5+ years of experience in a sales and/or a phone‑based customer service environment. Experience and strong relationships in Education. Be hungry, self‑drive and deliver on new business sales targets. A 'Hunter' mentality that enjoys seeking out new business. Exceptional organisation and time management skills. Engaging and agile conversation skills to communicate, engage and influence to varying buyer personas. Skilled in overcoming objections and ability to answer questions in ways that educate and entice the prospect. Ability to undertake prospect research to create trust and credibility leading to more meaningful customer engagement and success outcomes. Structured in approach and able to practice a repeatable process in terms of each new lead. Self‑motivation, high energy, resilient and determined. Ability to actively listen to prospects requirements and relate this to product offering. Eager to learn and become a product expert as well as upgrade your own professional skills. Be passionate about finding innovative new ways to promote the company and build leads. Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Management systems, e‑mail marketing tools.
