We’re live in over 1,000 restaurants across Canada, the US, UK, Germany, and Australia, and we’re just getting started. Role We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team and focus on both inbound and outbound sales. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers from all angles—whether they come to us organically or through proactive outreach. As an essential part of our startup team, you will play a key role in generating high‑quality leads, building relationships, and driving growth. Your drive, hunger, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup environment will be crucial to your success. What You’ll Do Outbound prospecting: initiate contact with potential clients using existing go‑to‑market channels, focusing on businesses integrated with Sadie’s AI‑powered voice technology. Lead qualification: assess and qualify leads to ensure alignment with our product offerings and pass them to the appropriate sales teams. CRM management: maintain accurate records of interactions and lead statuses in the CRM system, ensuring all data is up‑to‑date for efficient pipeline management. Performance metrics: meet and exceed targets related to lead generation, qualification rates, and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) contribution from qualified sales opportunities (SQLs). Collaboration: work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and processes to maximize lead generation efforts. Market insights & trend monitoring: stay informed about technological advancements and operational trends within the hospitality industry; analyze market dynamics, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust outreach strategies accordingly. Qualifications At least 1–3 years of proven experience in SaaS sales, preferably with significant experience in the hospitality technology or software sector. Demonstrated success in outbound sales and lead generation. Experience in cold calling, cold prospecting, and sourcing new business opportunities, with a track record of consistently exceeding performance targets. High proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms. Hunter mentality: self‑motivated, ambitious, and driven to achieve and surpass sales goals; able to execute independently in a remote work model.
