Account Manager – Hilti Energy & Industry Be among the first 25 applicants. Drive mining innovation and build strong client partnerships for safer, efficient operations. As an Account Manager within the Hilti Energy & Industry team, you will have direct customer contact with the existing customer base and will proactively identify new customers. The role focuses on the Western Australian mining industry, with the goal of making our customers more productive, safe and sustainable. You will grow sales by developing relationships, introducing new products and services, and implementing sales strategies in Western Australia. Successful candidates may be based in Perth but are required to travel to Port Hedland and Karratha five days each month; travel costs are fully paid by the business. What You'll Do The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies, building long‑term, sustainable, and profitable relationships with customers. Field sales and high‑level customer consultation in the defined mining territory. Perform scheduled customer calls according to the sales execution policy, using territory management systems. Identify new business opportunities. Negotiate trade agreements to secure and maximize profitability for the customer portfolio. Travel regularly to remote areas to improve coverage, penetrate existing mine sites, and capitalize on construction activity. What You’ll Bring Previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar customer‑facing role. Experience in Construction and Mining Industries is advantageous. Tertiary qualification is a plus. Solution‑selling and customer‑centric approach. A valid Australian driver’s licence. Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is desirable. Motivated and capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle. Strong discipline, ability to manage accounts remotely and build relationships. Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills. What’s In It for You A competitive salary base and uncapped bonus.
