Gen Stone (Australia ) Pty Ltd – Cranbourne VIC Company Overview We are a Victoria-based wholesale company specializing in zero-silica stone slabs and Sintered Stone. Our mission is to provide safe, innovative, and high-quality materials to cabinet makers, builders, developers, stonemasons, and fabricators. With growing demand, we are now expanding our team and seeking proactive and driven sales professionals to lead our local business development and project engagement efforts. Role Summary We are hiring four Sales Executives , with different focus areas to suit experience levels and career stages: Stonemason Sales Executive (Experienced) – dedicated to building strong relationships with stonemasons and fabricators, supporting them with product knowledge, technical details, and reliable supply. Designer & Builder Sales Executive (Experienced) – dedicated to engaging with interior designers, architects, and builders, introducing our products at the early design stage and tracking project opportunities. Junior Sales Executive – Builder/Designer Focus (Entry-Level) – suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited experience who are eager to start a sales career. This role will assist the Designer & Builder Sales Executive, learning how to engage with clients, follow up projects, and grow into an independent sales role. Junior Sales Executive – Stonemason/Trade Focus (Entry-Level) – suitable for recent graduates or candidates with strong motivation and willingness to learn. This role will support the Stonemason Sales Executive in maintaining client relationships, preparing quotations, and coordinating project activities. All roles are hybrid, combining business development with project tracking responsibilities. Key Responsibilities (for all roles) Business Development: Identify and contact prospective clients, arrange client meetings, showroom visits, and product presentations. Project Pipeline Management: Track project opportunities through BCI Australia, EstimateOne, and direct referrals. Client Support: Provide samples, quotations, and respond to project/tender requirements. Market & Sales Reporting: Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs, provide market feedback, and support marketing/trade show activities. For junior roles, initial focus will be on supporting senior sales executives, learning the product range, and gradually taking responsibility for client engagement. Requirements Experienced Sales Executives (Roles 1 & 2) Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in B2B sales or business development in the construction, stone, or building materials industry. Familiar with local builder networks, stonemason businesses, cabinet makers, or design firms in Melbourne. Confident in using BCI or EstimateOne to track and follow up project opportunities. Fluent in English; Mandarin skills are a plus but not required. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle. Junior Sales Executives (Roles 3 & 4) No prior sales experience required – recent graduates or candidates eager to learn are welcome. Interest in construction, building materials, or design industries preferred. Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and proactive attitude. Training and mentoring provided to develop into a full sales role. Salary & Benefits Experienced Roles : Competitive base salary (depending on experience) + commission + car/mobile allowance. Junior Roles : Base salary with performance incentives, plus full training and career development. Career Growth: Opportunity to progress into senior sales, regional management, or national sales roles. Performance KPIs (Example Targets) Contact at least 40–50 new businesses per month Achieve 2–3 new client conversions monthly Track 8–10 new BCI/EstimateOne projects per month Maintain >15% quotation-to-order conversion rate Junior roles will have adjusted KPIs during training and development stage.
