The opportunities We’re looking for experienced financial management leaders to manage the Department’s Enterprise Budgeting branch in delivering timely and efficient strategic budgeting and financial analysis services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing the Department’s overall budget. Providing advice and preparing reports that contribute to the financial management of the Department. Advising and assisting executive management regarding appropriate budget management strategies. Preparing Parliamentary Estimates Committee ministerial briefing papers to support the Minister in presenting the Department’s position during questioning. Developing, implementing, maintaining and controlling reporting standards, procedures and methods for budgeting and cost accounting purposes, and evaluating results to promote effective and efficient cost management.
