We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Community Development Officer - Community Wellbeing to join our team What You Will Do: As the Community Development Officer - Community Wellbeing, you will lead the development, coordination and delivery of community development initiatives and programs that promote wellbeing, build resilience and enhance the quality of life for residents. Working closely with internal teams and a broad network of community organisations, government agencies, and local stakeholders, you will play a key role in identifying community needs, designing evidence-based programs, and driving initiatives that strengthen social connections across our community. What We Are Looking For: Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Science, Population Health or Health Promotion, or a related field and demonstrated experience working in community or local government sectors. Current Qld Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive independently between all business locations to meet operational needs. Current Blue Card (Qld’s Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain. (No Card No Start). Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based youth engagement initiatives and a sound understanding of contemporary youth issues. Experience in producing and managing a diverse range of successful community programs and activities. Experience in successful grant writing and administration. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
