As an Indirect Tax Graduate at RSM, you will have the opportunity to develop the ability to apply fundamental tax skills, understand tax plans, prepare financial statements, develop a working knowledge of the fundamental electronic tax tools, and much more Key Responsibilities: Providing advice on a range of indirect tax issues (GST, Payroll tax, Stamp duty, Fuel Tax Credits and Land Tax) Drafting ruling requests and submissions and assisting clients with lodgement obligations with revenue offices Ability to work independently in a client facing role, working as the dedicated point of contact Working collaboratively with other divisions in RSM on joint engagements Building and maintaining a strong technical knowledge in Indirect tax Communicate with the ATO, including resolving administrative issues and handling general ATO queries About You: You are currently studying towards or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Commerce with an Accounting or Finance major Integrity is one of your core values, and you hold yourself and those you work with to a high standard of professionalism and mutual respect You enjoy client service and helping people achieve their goals You thrive when working across diverse areas and managing multiple project You are a self-starter and a team player, and you can bring your unique skills and ideas to the table You possess a can-do attitude, exceptional resilience, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development You possess a curiosity and desire to understand the client’s business and industry You are a highly motivated and dedicated individual, constantly striving for self-improvement and growth If that description sounds like you, apply today Ready to be part of the change?
