Base pay range A$90,000.00/yr - A$100,000.00/yr The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer with strong MRI system experience to take ownership of the end-to-end AP function. You’ll be the go-to expert for AP processes, support system optimisation, drive efficiency, and ensure smooth financial operations as the company continues to grow. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals and supplier payments. Ensure accuracy and completeness of AP data within MRI , including invoice entry, workflows, and payment runs. Maintain supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly and professionally. Reconcile supplier statements and investigate variances. Assist with month-end processes including accruals, reporting and ledger reconciliations. Support integration and optimisation of MRI modules and AP automation tools. Collaborate with finance, property, asset and development teams to manage AP requirements across a broad portfolio. Improve AP processes, documentation and internal controls to support ongoing business growth. Assist with onboarding new properties and entities into MRI. Skills & Experience MRI experience is essential – ideally across multiple modules including AP, workflow and property management. 4+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within property, construction, funds management, or a multi-entity environment. High attention to detail with strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a fast-growing or rapidly changing organisation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Strong Excel skills and the ability to work across high-volume, complex structures.
