Overview We’re looking to bring on a Claims Consultant to provide exceptional service to our customers in their time of need. Responsibilities You’ll listen to understand our customer’s unique needs and manage claims through their broker to get our clients back on the road as quickly as possible after an accident. You’ll be the main point of call for our customers on phone and email, their representatives and other teams – the glue that holds the claim together. Your job is to take the stress away by facilitating each part of the claims process on behalf of our customers and keeping them up to date as the claim progresses. You’ll have a portfolio of claims that you will own end‑to‑end, with autonomy and ownership to deliver on your work. Required Skills Confident communicator – pick up the phone. Problem solving – think outside the box. Decisiveness – make the right call for customers. A sense of humour – make each day a little easier. Ideal Qualifications At least 2 years experience as a Claims Consultant or in General Insurance (domestic or commercial motor is a plus). A commitment to learning – willing to complete a Cert IV in General Insurance (funded if not completed). Benefits Real commitment to development and ongoing study.
