Northern Adelaide Local Health Network - Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health - Dudley Park Salary : $29.10 - $29.41 per hour + 25% loading plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits - WHA3 Casual, up to 12 months About the Role The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking passionate dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team within Kanggawodli, Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health service as a Hostel Officer. The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia. Kanggawodli is a purpose built facility providing culturally appropriate accommodation and support to Aboriginal clients from rural and remote SA and interstate who are in Adelaide for medical appointments and/or treatment, and their carers or escorts. As a Hostel Officer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to residents in our modern healthcare facilities. Your compassionate nature, combined with your ability to multitask and prioritise tasks, will be invaluable in ensuring the well‑being and comfort of those under your care. Key Responsibilities Delivering high‑quality personal care services to residents, fostering a dignified and respectful environment. Assisting with daily living activities. Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment through routine cleaning and housekeeping duties. Promoting resident engagement by organising recreational activities and encouraging social interaction. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented effectively.
