Senior Business Development Manager FoodByUs is a B2B market‑leading wholesale ordering software used by thousands of hospitality suppliers and venues nationwide. We connect these two sides, providing an incredible software experience for both restaurants and suppliers. We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team helping sell our leading software solution to hospitality businesses. Location: Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager . You’ll generate leads, pitch them on the FoodByUs platform, explain the benefits of moving to an efficient online order management system, run price comparisons, and ultimately get venues to order everything through FoodByUs – all while working within our uncapped commission structure. Key Responsibilities Identify new buyers and hospitality businesses (cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs, etc.) that would benefit from utilizing FoodByUs’ platform as their primary ordering system. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales pipelines, and progress toward targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions. Your Experience Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales professional. A proven hunter who is not afraid to cold‑call and utilize networks. Skilled in communication and negotiation, with a knack for closing deals. A self‑starter, commercially savvy and capable of excelling in both team‑based and autonomous environments. Knowledge of the hospitality / F&B industry highly desirable, but not essential. Why FoodByUs? What’s in it for you?
