We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Commercial Collections Team Leader to join our team and contribute to our high-performing Collections team. The Opportunity Reporting to the Collections Manager, this role is responsible for leading and developing a multi-site collections team of approximately ten staff. This role suits someone confident in setting clear expectations, holding people accountable, and making tough calls—while still motivating their team through energy, fairness, and lead-by-example leadership. You’ll bring structure, direction, and drive to the team, creating a performance-focused environment where people feel supported, challenged, and proud of the results they deliver. This position contributes to building a high-performing culture aligned with Finance One’s expectations around customer outcomes, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Be Doing Lead, coach and provide day-to-day operational oversight to collections teams across multiple locations Drive performance outcomes by monitoring arrears progression, file quality, promise behaviours, call activity and revenue impact Support the achievement of commercial collection targets through structured coaching, feedback and performance management Act as an escalation point for complex accounts, disputes and customer concerns, providing sound judgement and negotiation support Maintain high compliance and quality standards, ensuring accounts are worked thoroughly and handed over effectively Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, transparency, trust and continuous improvement Deliver regular team huddles, 1:1s and development conversations to uplift capability and engagement Identify process gaps, inefficiencies and emerging portfolio risks, contributing practical improvement initiatives Provide reporting, insights and leadership cover as delegate for the Collections Manager when required What We’re Looking For Min 3+ years proven experience in a leadership role managing people Demonstrated capability to coach, performance manage, and build capability in others Experience in commercial collections, finance, lending or call centre environments Multi-site leadership or remote workforce management experience, highly regarded Strong knowledge of arrears management, skip trace principles, or dispute handling Why Join Us?
