Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will be responsible for developing and executing long-term marketing strategies and annual brand plans, enhancing brand identity, managing budgets, and leading multi-channel campaigns. Relationships are key to building buy in through strategic communication with internal and external stakeholders, fostering relationships with marketing agencies, and driving brand innovation. based in Sydney with our hybrid working model allowing you to work in the office and remotely.Key responsibilities include:Develop and refine brand identity, positioning, and architecture for existing and new master brandsCreate long-term brand strategies aligned with regional targets and short-term portfolio goalsLead the annual brand planning cycle, delivering activity plans that meet brand objectives, consumer needs, and customer business plansManage annual A&P budgets, ensuring efficiency and monthly reconciliationOversee the development, production, and evaluation of multi-channel marketing activities, ensuring alignment with consumer insights and obtaining necessary approvalsLead the new product development process from insight to post-launch review, coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating with Commercial teams and retailersServe as the portfolio marketing lead for demand planning, allocations, SKU rationalisation, and product exitsFoster a high-performance culture by coaching team members to monitor and adjust brand performance based on P&L metricsDevelop and coach brand marketing talent, ensuring team capability and personal developmentBuild effective relationships within Accolade, with key customers, and with external suppliersWhat you'll bringThe ideal candidate possesses strong strategic, commercial, and creative thinking, demonstrating robust leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, capable of building sustainable business relationships. You will have outstanding communication, business acumen, and project management abilities, aligned with a proactive and results-driven approach will see you successful in this role. On a leadership level, your focus will also be shared in coaching and growing talent, embodying Accolade's behaviours, and working autonomously while fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. Including:Relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing or related disciplineMinimum 10 years’ experience in FMCG (wine/liquor preference), with at least 8 of these years in Marketing/BrandProven ability to develop and lead insight led marketing initiatives that drive competitive advantage demonstrating an understanding of what motivates consumersExperience in planning, building and monitoring annual business plansDemonstrated reputation for customer engagement with ability to drive mutual business resultsStrong commercial acumen and understanding of the impact of customer spend on channel profitability with thorough ROI process understandingExperience in managing budgets and tracking spend effectivenessDemonstrated ability to achieve targets and meet challenging deadlinesExperience in leading a diverse team and developing marketing capabilitiesKnowledge of basic sales management concepts (e.g., sell-in process, trade promotion and pricing, category management, feature/benefit selling, distribution/channels)What you can expect:As a 5 Star Employer of Choice, Accolade Wines will provide the ideal climate and a hand-picked rewards package for you.
