Job Overview Accounting Management Accountant Sydney Permanent / Full Time Strong appetite to be a true business partner Ability to influence non-financial Hybrid working arrangement This Real Estate Investment and Asset Management group are recruiting for a newly created Property Accountant role to manage and account for a small but high profile portfolio of Retail assets. The role will be hugely business partnering focused, as you will be the main finance person reporting to the head office on overall portfolio performance. Responsibilities Complete quality and timely Financial Reports, including month-end analysis & commentary on each Shopping Centre in the portfolio Budgeting & Forecasting, Reporting and Analytics and Due Diligence analysis. Yardi experience – useful but not essential Process improvement initiatives Presentation to Senior leadership on portfolio performance results Retail experience preferred but background from other asset classes also welcome Business partner with Asset management teams on ways to improve portfolio performance. You will be supporting the Centre in all Management Accounting aspects, and you will be a key contributor to identifying and implementing improved financial processes, especially around budgeting and forecasting.
